Happy new year
I know there hasn't been much going on here. Mostly cause riding season is over for now. I had an amazing year and I'm looking forward to 2016 and what it has in store for me. Hopefully more great memories to be made and rides and trips to go on. One of my goals for the year is to keep this blog going, so hopefully I'm successful with that. I will share our annual Christmas party/meeting/mug exchange on here which is next week, so you have that to look forward to. See you soon and Happy New Year!

17th Annual Give a Child Christmas Toy Run
Today was Chapter NY 12 had our 17th annual Toy Run. It was a beautiful day! Seriously in October we are always taking a chance we have had some freezing cold days, rainy days, but it was perfect. There was a chill in the air but over the course of the day it warmed up.

The ride itself was absolutely beautiful! Kudos to our road captain. I had never been on any of the roads we were on.
After the ride we gathered around so chapter 12 could thank those who help us through out the year.
First we thanked Don and our favorite summer hangout PJ's Barb-qsa.
Then thanked Miss Susan Wells the founder of Stars a great organization that cuts the stars from retired flags to pass along to veterans, active military, firefighter and police officers. President Bob and wife Sue volunteer their time cutting and bagging stars a couple times a month.
We thanked the reason for the whole day Ms Lori the organizer of Give a Child Christmas.
The last big award we planned to give out is our Valentine award which we gave to a huge supporter of Give a Child and our event who passed away this passed year June Sarro.
Jim wanted to play with all the toys.
This year we had 80+ raffle prizes.
Chapter NY 29 won largest group this year.
Best part of my day was visiting with my handsome nephews. We were missing a couple cuties my other nephew and niece.
Future biker:
Miss Shelbie with Daddy Dan. She's always the star of the show. She is seriously the best dog in the world. I always love seeing her at our meetings and events.

Whiteface Mountain Ride
September 27th A small crew met up with a few other chapters from NY and VT to take a ride up to the summit of Whiteface mountain. The morning was very cold I'm pretty sure it was 47 degrees to start off and then dropped to 30 something before it warmed up.
Dan and his moose
The view on top of the summit was beautiful.
These guys needed a break on the climb up.
We all made it:
