August 29th NYS museum ride

So I am a little behind on my posts already! Go Ginger!  Last weekend we met up with some member from Massachusetts and rode down to the NYS museum for us it is a hope skip and a jump, but we haven't really went through the museum since I was little.  It was an interesting time with lots to see and down.   I will post pictures later I stupidly downloaded them in to my computer and I'm literally writing this blog post on the back of the bike. After that the members from Mass asked if we wanted to join them for lunch/dinner at the hairpin dinner in Massachusetts. So of course we did!  It was a beautiful ride even stuck in the cage (aka the car).  The food was good, the staff quirky and the view was beautiful! It was a beatiful day! Pictures will be added by Tuesday so check back.

The 9/11 exhibit at the New York State Museum

Further inside the museum Meranda and I found a trailer (a construction office type trailer) filled with mementos from the families of 9/11 victims.  I found it odd the placement of the trailer it was no where near the 9/11 exhibit where I believe it should have been.

The New York State Wildlife exhibit

Down the street from the museum is a World War II monument it was beautiful.
